961 - "The Last Living Slut: Born in Iran, Bred Backstage, Rock Stars" Book Review

There was a time when I used to think that I was the only Iranian who shook hands with that blond and bored by the busy atmosphere around him, and was talked with like an Iranian Fan of him, or that funny and laughing man with that cap which there was a F-U-C-K written on it giving autographs, or that famous Icon with curly long hair with that top hat and Gitanes cigarettes, who was calm and quiet and friendly, who I put my arm around him and we took a nice picture and I was given an advice in playing guitar by, And I got his autograph on a poster and his Autobiography book... yeah I'm talking about Duff McKagen, Matt Sorum and Slash, Former and original members of Guns n' Roses and now Velvet Revolver!
Well, It's not like that anymore today! As there is a book out today which is the diaries of an Iranian slut named Roxana Shirazi, who writes about her sexual relationships with rock stars from bands like Guns n' Roses, Velvet Revolver, Papa Roach, Motley Crue and etc... A Book titled: ""The Last Living Slut: Born in Iran, Bred Backstage." It is told that several editors and agents passed on her manuscript for fear of a fatwa - the Islamic death sentence that once put "Satanic Verses" author Salman Rushdie in fear of his life. though Shirazi says that "I haven't attacked Islam itself," "But they probably don't think I should be writing about doing sex during my Koran classes."
Her later rock debauchery is so explicit as to make Pamela Des Barres' famous "I'm With the Band" read "like a nun's diary," the book warns. A Stripper who amused the crowd alongside with Axel Roses on stage according to "Reckless Road" book.
One of other controversial aspects of the book is the photos of a naked Shirazi, and another of her dressed in a traditional chador while making an obscene gesture with her fingers and tongue. Something that would cost her life if she ever comes back to motherland!
"I was always more into Nikki Sixx," she says. "But when we went to dinner, I found him a little dull. He talked about his gardening."
She never found Skid Row's Sebastian Bach that hot, but that didn't prevent her from giving him, shall we say, an all-access pass. But she was mortified when Axl Rose walked in on them. Rose's band mate Dizzy Reed comes off the worst. Shirazi contends that the keyboardist "was childish and dorky in his seduction" but she eventually found him remarkably sensitive by heavy-metal standards.When she told Reed she was pregnant, she says, he encouraged her to have an abortion and began bombarding her with cruel texts. "I hope you go through more abortions, to be honest ... have a wonderful time aborting your children, you piece of s—," he said in one, according to Shirazi, who says she still has his messages.
I wonder what she means by "Cruel" when you have chose to live as a slut! I mean, when you're living your life as a prostitute, everything is cruel in it's best. When you sell yourself slightly, You are bought cheap!

Personally, her relationship with the band members is not something that would be comparable with my own experience. Again, unlike my memorable, and fun time with the mentioned band members and witnessing a part of their lifestyle in general and from totally different aspects, - which I can end up writing an article about the departure of Scott Weiland from Velvet Revolver - , writing such things like she did is not something to be proud of which On one hand, This would decline the book as a favorite book of a bunch of groupies, as some boys might not find it that special: how good some rock stars are in bed!!! but on the other hand, the fact that the writers of the book are Neil Strauss and Anthony Bozza might make you wanna reconsider! Bozza that in my opinion did something great with "Slash's Autobiography", a book which makes it special because unlike most of the books out there, you don't feel like the writer is jerking off to your face with exaggerated stories and exotic recalls of some moments that he was expected to be too high to remember any detail of it!

I don't remember that I had read about some Iranian Girl in Slash's Autobiography book nor in the "Reckless Road - Guns n' Roses and the making of appetite for destruction", but let me point out something that wasn't mentioned in any of the blogs and websites I checked, which is the case of Nikki Sixx and the "The Heroin Diaries Soundtrack" Album. which includes a song "Girl with golden eyes" that Starts with: "She Speaks tome in Persian, tells me that she loves me, girl with golden eyes...". Well, we all know persian is a type of Heroin and also golden is related to Heroin according to his book, but Can this be a metaphor as well? Is it something like a coincidence or can be more to that? This is one thing that would make you wanna pursue it by reading the book interestingly!

Though there is one last problem, as it is for Iranian reader, It might not be that hard to find somebody to send that to you, but the thing is after being checked by US mail and again Iran's Postal service, is there any chance left for you to get your hands on it? Will it get lost somewhere in the middle of the process or at the best, the pictures will be ruined with a black marker? This is a question that the answer is obvious to a great extent! Something that makes it as one of those times when you say: Fuck politics, and Fuck politicians, and Fuck all those red lines they have always drawn on planet earth... And then you go hit the Guns n' Roses CDs!

من فكر مي كردم تنها ايراني اي هستم كه اسمش در رفته باشه كه با اون مرد مو بلوندي كه حوصلهء شلوغي دوروبرش رو نداشت دست داده و مثل طرفداري از ايران چند كلمه اي در مورد خودش باهاش حرف زده يا اون مرد بامزه اي كه مي خنديد و يه كلاه نقاب دار گذاشته بود سرش كه روش نوشته بود اف-يو-سي-كي و امضا مي داد، يا اون آيكون معروف با موهاي فر و اون كلاه شاپوي معروف و سيگارهاي جيتانزش كه آروم بود و رفتاري دوستانه داشت و دستم رو پشتش گذاشتم و عكسي دوستانه با هم گرفتيم و بهم نصيحتي در مورد گيتار زدن داد و كتاب بيوگرافي و امضاشو روي پوستر گرفتم... منظورم داف مك كيگن، مت سروم و اسلش هستن كه سابقا توي گروه گانزن روزز بودن و الان ولوت ريوالور!
الان ديگه اينطور نيست، چون از امروز كتابي وارد بازار شده كه خاطرات يك روسپي ايراني به نام ركسانا شيرازي كه از همخوابگي هاش با آيكون ها و راك استارهايي از گانزن روزز، ولوت ريوالور، پاپاروچ، ماتلي كرو و... رو در بر داره كه ترجمهء تايتل كتاب هست: "آخرين فاحشهء زنده مانده: بدنيا آمده در ايران، بزرگ شده در پشت صحنه". گفته ميشه كه چند تا از ناشر ها از چاپ كتابش بخاطر ترس از فتواي مرگ سرباز زده اند گرچه شيرازي ميگه كه در كتابش به اسلام توهين نكرده، اما شايد براي بعضي خوشايند نباشه وقتي بخونن در طول كلاس قرآن، رابطهء جنسي داشته است!
گفته ميشه تعريف او از روابطش با راك استارها آنقدر بي پرده است كه كتاب معروف پاملا دس بارز: "من با گروه هستم" رو در حد خاطرات يك راهب پايين مياره! استريپري كه با توجه به كتاب "جادهء بي پروا-گازن روزز و ساخت آلبوم ميل به نابودي" قبل از ضبط آلبوم روي صحنه با اكسل روزز جمعيت رو "سرگرم" مي كردند!
از ديگر موارد سروصدا دار كتاب، ميشه به چاپ عكس برهنه اي از ركسانا شيرازي، و يك عكس ديگر در حالي كه چادر به سر كرده و ژست شهوت انگيزي به خودش گرفته ميشه اشاره كرد! اگر اين موضوع كه در صورت بازگشت ركسانا شيرازي به سرزمين مادري: ايران، مرگ در انتظارش خواهد بود، به اندازهء كافي در غرب بحث به راه خواهد انداخت!
شيرازي در كتابش از اينكه هميشه به نيكي سيكس علاقه داشته ميگه و از اينكه با درون احمق او آشنا ميشه يا اينكه سباستين باخ هيچ وقت براي او جذاب نبوده اما باعث نشده كه باهاش همخوابه نشه تعريف مي كنه و از اينكه وقتي حين عمليات اكسل روزز مياد توي اتاق و او "خجالت زده" (!) ميشه! اما بدترين اوضاع رو ديزي ريد داره، كيبورد زن گانزن روزز كه ركسانا عاشقش ميشه و از اون بچه دار ميشه و ديزي ريد به او پيغام هاي "بيرحمانه" اي ميزنه كه: "در سقط بچه و بچه هاي بعدي ات موفق باشي."
من شخصا دوست دارم بدونم چه چيز خاصي بيرحمانه است وقتي كسي فاحشگي پيشهء خودش كرده است! در واقع در فاحشگي همه چيز در بالاترين حد بي رحمانه است و وقتي انتخاب كرده كه خود و بدنش رو به هر قيمتي بفروشه، همه ارزون مي خرنش!

نوع ارتباط او با اعضا گروه و حد و اندازه اش چيزي نيست كه با تجربهء من قابل مقايسه باشه، در واقع بر خلاف تجربهء خاطره انگيز و به ياد موندني و آنقدر شخصي و با ارزش من كه در موردش چيزي ننويسم از آشنايي با راك استار هايي كه اسمشان را بردم و شاهد نوع زندگيشان بودن از زاويه اي ديگر - آنقدر كه بتوانم مقاله اي در مورد علت هاي جدايي اسكات وايلند از گروه ولوت ريوالور بنويسم - نوشتن از اين نوع خاطرات اصلا نمي تونه باعث افتخار باشه! همين امر شايد در نگاه اول باعث ميشه علاقه اي به خوندن اينكه فلان كس توي رخت خواب چطور بود در حد كتابي كه براي يك سري دخترهاي طرفدار گروه كه آرزوشون خوابيدن با راك استارهاست به طرز احمقانه اي در عشق به سر مي برند جالب باشه نزول كنه! حالا هرچقدر از روحيات و رفتار هاي راك استارها گفته باشه، شخصا علاقه اي به خواندن اين جور نوشته ها ندارم. با اين وجود، اين موضوع كه نويسنده هاي اين كتاب نيل اشتراوس و خصوصا آنتوني بوزا هستند مي تونه باعث تجديد نظر بشه! آنتوني بوزايي كه كتاب اتوبيوگرافي اسلش كه بي شك يكي از بهترين كتاب ها در مورد راك استارها رو نوشته، چون يكي از معدود كتاب هاييه كه با خواندن اون احساس نمي كني كه آرتيست مورد نظر داره با داستان پردازي و خفن بازي، خودارضايي مي كنه يا صرفا از يك سري جريانات ميگه كه براي يك سري طرفدار و آدم هاي سطحي كه دوست دارند فقط از سكس و دراگ و راك اند رول بخوانند جالب باشه و بس! شايد از اين بابت بشه توقع كتاب خوبي رو داشت، گرچه باز موضوع كتاب ممكنه خيلي پست به نظر بياد.
شخصا به ياد ندارم در كتاب اتوبيوگرافي اسلش چيزي در مورد رابطه اش با دختري ايراني چيزي خوانده باشم، يا در كتاب "جادهء بي پروا"، اما بگذاريد يك موضوع جالب رو پيش بكشم كه توي هيچ وبسايتي بهش پرداخته نشده! اونم قضيه اي هست كه به نيكي سيكس برميگرده و آلبوم "ساندترك خاطرات هروئين" كه آلبومي موسيقي براي كتاب او "خاطرات هروئين" است در آن آلبوم آهنگي هست به اسم: "دختري با چشمان طلايي". آهنگي كه با اين جملات شروع ميشه: "او با من به فارسي صحبت مي كنه... به من ميگه عاشقمه... دختري با چشمان طلايي". خب البته كه تا بحال با رجوع به كتاب خاطرات هروئين گفته شده كه "پرشين" نوعي هروئين است و رنگ طلايي هم مربوط به آن و... اما اين موضوع مي تونه كنايه اي باشه دو طرفه. چيزي در حد تصادف يا شايد بيشتر از آن؟ اين چيزي است كه دانستنش مي تونه جالب باشه و شايد بشه در كتاب به اون پي برد! (؟) بايد خواند و ديد!
گرچه يك موضوع بحث انگيز ديگر براي مخاطب ايراني، پيدا كردن كسي است كه كتاب را براي من بفرستد، گرچه كار چندان سختي نيست، اما اينكه اين كتاب بعد از كنترل شدن در پست آمريكا، و چك شدن مجدد در پست ايران، آيا به دست من خواهد رسيد يا نه؟، كلا گم مي شود يا عكس هايش با ماژيك سياه خواهد شد؟ سوالي است كه جوابش تا اندازهء زيادي مشخص است!

اين همان موقع است كه ميگي لعنت بر سياست و سياست مدار ها و تمام خطوط قرمزي كه اين مغز فندقي ها روي كرهء زمين كشيده اند... و ميري گانزن روزز ات رو گوش مي كني!د
